Mariejan Bigby

Being married and the mother of 5 children, Mariejan is very conscious of the need for a healthy balance between work, family and friends; and of keeping a sense of humour and sanity.

Mariejan has a Bachelor of International Business and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance. She has made good use of both in her varied career. Mariejan’s clients benefit from the same high level analytical skills and attention to detail that are usually only available to the big corporate players.

Mariejan has worked as a speculative foreign exchange trader in the money markets of Hong Kong, Account Manager in the treasury at the National, and managed the wholesale energy pricing book for Energex Retail. She has managed a medium sized, non-profit childcare business and undertaken project management contracts with Suncorp and Bank of Queensland, helping them develop products and marketing strategies and the back office systems to support and direct the growth and expansion of their business.

Mariejan made the tree change and, along with her family, moved to the Darling Downs. Mariejan applied her corporate skills to the small business sphere, operating a retail general store for 5 years. New challenges awaited, and Mariejan took up a Practice Management role with a financial planning firm.

Mariejan is driven to help others achieve. Her analytical training and strategic focus assist her to help her clients identify their objectives. Mariejan has the capacity to think laterally and logically and help her clients identify innovative solutions to their challenges and the focus and dedication to help her clients stay on track and achieve their goals.
Mariejan loves to work with others to find a way forward with any issue.
