Nigel Hobbs

Nigel is a successful and experienced manager with over 20 years practical experience in high turnover complex business in the retail and downstream oil sectors.

In his time working for “big business” Nigel experienced a wide range of roles including operating a national retail chain of over 500 locations, running regional fuel distributors and a number of field operations and accounting roles. These roles gave unique insights in running a business including managing staff, Business Planning, cash flow, inventory, and cost control including labor and time management.

After spending over 20 years with major corporations, Nigel was looking for something different. Becoming a Small Business Coach allows him to use the knowledge developed over the years to assist businesses to improve their operation and achieve whatever goals they may have, whether it is to grow the business, improve profits or simply have a more balanced life.

Nigel has a Bachelor of Business degree and is a Certified Practicing Accountant (although he hasn’t practiced any accounting for a long time) and is a huge cricket and soccer fan.
