The Great Vision

Is your business creating a better future?

Let’s hope so. We should all have ambitions to improve our corner of the world – even if that’s just providing a useful product for local customers.

This may seem obvious, but I’m constantly surprised by the number of business owners who have to think hard when I ask them about where they’re going with their organization.  Oh sure, it’s easy to respond that the future looks like more customers, more revenue, more profit.

But few are exclusively tied to just the money.  There’s almost always a desire for a healthy and motivated team, for customers who are loyal and excited, for supportive partners.  And for reduced stress – a business which can run itself while responding to the changing market.

Wouldn’t it be magnificent if we were able to supply jobs like that for people?  We’d make a real dent in those huge “disengaged employees” numbers that seem to just increase every year.

This is what a powerful vision for a better future can look like.  It’s not just about making boatloads of money but dying early.

When I work with clients, this is something we develop early in the engagement.  It’s a foundation for most other decisions in the business – so if it’s unclear, progress will be undirected.

If you’re feeling like there’s more power down in your heart somewhere than has been articulated to you your employees, give me a call!  We’ll get it clear.

You’ll end up with a healthier and more focused business.
