You’ve probably had lots of ads in your feed and lots of emails in your inbox trying to entice you with Christmas or New Year’s special offers suggesting you use the time off to reflect on your business and make a plan for next year and hit the ground running in January ready to make 2023 a smash.
This year I’m not doing that.
Most of the people I speak to are overworked – they’re busy, getting sucked more into the guts of their business and spending more time on the tools or involved in jobs and less time on their business than they should be or they’d like to be.
So instead of time to take stock or time to set some goals for next year, this is my Christmas message – have a holiday! Take some time off. Don’t think about work at all. Go to the beach spend time with your children or partner, or on the golf course, whatever floats your boat. Come back in January and buy my thing, of course. It’s time for planning next year.
