You find inspiration in the most amazing places. Sometimes as you are driving your car or walking in the park. I found inspiration one night as I watched TV (Not sure of the program).

Yes, I was veging out, not looking for inspiration of any kind when an ad was shown that I believe was so powerful and so true. It went something like this…

A young boy playing the piano (not very good) and when asked his name and what he would like to be when he grew up he replied my name is Billy Joel and I’m going to be a famous piano player and singer. The next scene was again of a young boy playing the piano (also somewhat clumsily). The same question was asked. His reply was, “My name is Elton John and when I grow up I’m going to be a famous piano player and songwriter. The third scene was again of a young boy playing the piano with such passion and skill that it captured my imagination and I waited to hear the reply to that same question “What will you be when you grow up?” His reply was, “my name is such and such (I can’t remember it) and when I grow up I’m going to be a Plumber just like my Dad!!!”

Moral to the story…You achieve what you set out to achieve. Each boy had a goal and guess what… they will achieve it.

I know this is a simple illustration but it’s often the simple ones that usually have the greatest impact.

The mind is a powerful tool in achieving our dreams and goals…
